Usually, people buy one piece of jewelry at a time and understandably, dealers try to make as much profit as possible. When it comes to wholesale though, it is a different story. Instead of just selling one piece, sellers are selling one hundred at a time, so price per piece is not as important as the total amount. This allows one to get it at a much cheaper price. What happens is that Costco does this with jewelry dealers and resells it back to its customers for profit.
